i was starting to get a bit bored with the theme i had going. thought i’d change it. who knows, maybe i’ll get bored of this one tomorrow. but for now, it’s new!

my first pair of converse. they were blue suede, it had the star and the triangle thing on the side in white. sorry if the terminology isn’t right! i’ve been thinking about them lately…well again, since i saw a similar pair in a magazine. now, i went on a quest on the internet to look for a pic of them. AND it’s SOOOOO hard!! especially when you don’t remember or KNOW the name of the design. (i was 14 when i got them, i should remember, shouldn’t i?)
BUT! i found a pair…in brown.. now hopefully i will find a pair in that same blue, like my first pair. i must say, they are my favorite design. maybe it’s coz they were the first pair i ever got from converse. i begged my dad for months! everyone in high school had them, and i finally got them for christmas! i was sooooo happy! i remember my dad complaining about how expensive they were. it was when we were in bali and i remember seeing them in the mall, and i said to him…i want those. and he was like, no, why don’t you get some cheaper ones.
wow…all of a sudden i miss my dad. it’s weird thinking about that night again now. hmm…anyways. here are the kicks.
it’s monday again…and the weather is horrible. it’s cold again, and raining, AND windy!! what a great way to begin the week. let’s see what the joys of work will bring today and this week….
kathryn and i went out for our lunch one day and were both craving chocolate. so we stopped to get some junk food on the way back. i bought a kitkat chunky with peanut butter and she got us reese’s. back in the office i split the bar in half, opened it, and put it face down. when i picked up my half, i saw i got the ‘kit’ half, making kathryn get ‘kat’. the only reason why this is going to be an interesting blog is coz kathryn in short is kat…and she got the ‘kat’ bit of the bar!! SEE!!!

i was walking home from work one day, when i noticed this sign. now i always take this way home, and on that one day, i saw this and thought it was the randomest place to place an ad for a taxi…
funny thing is, now the sign is gone and the bridge is just a bridge. but the chippie is still there!
