Just perusing these logs as I just bought my first single speed! I’m a converting Mtn Biker seeking complete transformation (that is, from dirt to pavement)…My draft lite so i call it is still brown and beautfiul blue, however, I’m thinking candy red frame with tan leather saddle + straight bar. We’ll see. Anyway, glad to hear that I haven’t exactly made a poor choice and there are good reviews out here…

Hi Dewi,

so so, du bist jetzt also auch unter die Blogger gegangen. Ich hab einfach mal nach deinem Name gegoogelt und schon finde ich wieder etwas neues über dich. Du bist ja richtig fleissig im Internet unterwegs.
Wie geht’s dir so ? Ich muss immer wieder über deine Geschichte lachen, als du in dem P****-Verlag gearbeitet hast. Mein erster Gedanke war, das ist genau der richtig Job für dich .

thanks…i’m still happy with mine, but i’ve also changed the handlebars to a shorter, straight handlebar and i’ve got a new seat as well.

have you tried getting some bmx pedals? they are a different size than normal pedals.

have you got a pic of your bike anywhere? i’d love to see it!

I was pretty happy with my Draft Lite (bought about six weeks ago) until I went to replace the pedals with something more compact

Turns out the threads on the standard pedals have a bigger shaft than the ones on the Draft- looks like I’ll have to replace the arms (or whatever they’re called) or return my crank brothers to nashbar

Otherwise a good bike for the price. Mine is red/yellow- I put a black-and-yellow seat on the stock red model, and put a yellow tire on the front. And a rack that’s like a diving board.
